Asked opinion of new patron rules handout: noticed that 2 “felonies” became “misdemeanors”. Local manager says: Well they won’t read it anyway, I’m too busy to change it (Damn it man, I gave it 5 minutes thought, that’s a lot for security crap). Junior. manager.  “Oh, they are not going to parse it.” So condescending as to be treacley. Great fun!

Found wallet-gave to boss-woman claims it immediately-says thanks, I wave, she says to boss “isn’t he supposed to say something?”

Director does have time to instruct me to tell a man, sitting on the city street, 20 yds. beyond the building property line and our own ash tray, to stop smoking…remember the bosses make the rules per their individual sense of ‘right’. We must do & be seen doing “security” or lose our tenuous jobs.[So, knowing she is watching through the window, I walk over to said smoker and ask what he thinks of the weather. He finishes smoke and I return to building. Everyone is happy.]
